Brian Lauterbach, CFRE
Founder, Jumpstart Program
Brian leads a remote team of fundraisers, grantmakers, consultants, and social entrepreneurs comprising Network for Good's Impact Division, a "special-ops team" charged with coordinating existing local, state, and regional resources designed to help nonprofits build fundraising capacity, nationally - the network to deliver the Jumpstart Program.
Brian has served as a professional fundraiser and consultant for more than one hundred nonprofit organizations in the United States. In this capacity, he was chiefly responsible for the process and strategy redesign, integrating fundraising activities that lead to more 4 million donors giving $300 million to causes most important to them.
Brian teaches fundraising and nonprofit management at George Washington University and Northwestern University and has served as the Annual Giving Track Chair for AFP International’s Conference on Fundraising. In the last year, he has traveled to more than 80 cities in the US to challenge his audiences at conferences and workshops to move fundraising from an ad hoc, administrative function to a daily, central leadership priority.
